TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. About Sehyog
Sehyog is a community-focused digital platform designed to help users discover and connect with temples and independent service providers offering religious, cultural, traditional and community-related services.
Sehyog acts as a facilitator and marketplace platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Sehyog does not operate, manage, control or represent any temple or service provider listed on the Platform.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sehyog website, mobile applications and related services (together, the “Platform”).
Sehyog is operated by:

2. Using Sehyog and Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Sehyog, you agree to comply with these Terms.
Users must review and explicitly accept these Terms & Conditions before creating an account. Registration cannot be completed without acceptance.
You must provide accurate and current information when registering or submitting information to the Platform.
You must not use Sehyog:
– Unlawfully or fraudulently.
– To impersonate another person, temple, charity or organisation.
– To submit information that you know is false or misleading.
– To interfere with the operation or security of the Platform.
– To publish unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, threatening or otherwise objectionable content.
– To harass, bully, threaten, intimidate or abuse other users.
– To promote hatred, violence, exploitation or unlawful activities.
– To publish spam, misleading promotions or fraudulent event listings.
Sehyog may restrict or suspend access where these Terms are breached, subject to applicable law.
3. Temple Registration
Temples may submit information to create or claim a presence on Sehyog.
We may ask for information including:
– Temple name.
– Charity Commission registration number, where applicable.
– Address and location.
– Contact information.
– Opening and visiting information.
– Facilities.
– Photographs and videos.
– Events and festivals.
– Religious and community services.
– Other information relevant to the temple.
Where available, Sehyog may use information obtained from public sources, including the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
A successful Charity Commission lookup means only that information corresponding to the registration number has been located. It does not mean that Sehyog endorses, recommends or guarantees the temple or its activities or services.
Sehyog may request additional information where reasonably necessary to confirm that a person registering or managing a temple listing is authorised to do so.
4. Service Provider Registration
Independent service providers may register their interest in being listed on Sehyog.
Providers are responsible for ensuring that information they provide is accurate and up to date.
Sehyog maintains a selected list of professions relevant to cultural, religious and community-related services.
Providers must select a profession from the available list. If a relevant profession is not listed, providers may contact support@sehyog.world.
Registration with Sehyog does not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, agency or representative relationship between Sehyog and the service provider.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, service providers operate independently from Sehyog.
5. Sehyog’s Role
Sehyog facilitates discovery and connection.
Information displayed on Sehyog is intended to help users find and learn about temples, events and independent service providers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
– Sehyog is not the provider of any religious, ceremonial, cultural or other service displayed on the Platform.
– Any service is provided by the relevant temple or independent service provider.
– Sehyog does not represent that any particular ceremony, puja, ritual or other religious or spiritual service will achieve any particular spiritual, personal, financial, health, relationship or other outcome.
– Users should make their own assessment before engaging a temple or service provider.
6. No Endorsement or Guarantee
The inclusion of a temple, event or service provider on Sehyog does not, by itself, constitute an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee by Sehyog.
Where Sehyog displays information concerning registration, identity checks or other verification, we will aim to explain what has actually been checked.
For example, confirmation of a Charity Commission registration number should not be interpreted as Sehyog guaranteeing the quality, suitability, conduct or services of the relevant organisation.
Similarly, publication or administrative approval of an event does not guarantee its authenticity, quality, safety or suitability.
7. Information Provided by Temples and Service Providers
Temples and service providers are responsible for information they submit to Sehyog.
They must take reasonable steps to ensure that:
– Information is accurate and not misleading.
– Prices, where displayed, are clear and accurate.
– Any applicable charges, booking conditions and cancellation terms are communicated clearly.
– Photographs, videos and other content may lawfully be used.
– Required licences, qualifications, permissions or insurance are maintained where applicable.
– Descriptions do not make misleading or unsubstantiated claims.
– Event details, including dates, locations and organiser information, are accurate.
Sehyog may remove, suspend or request changes to information that appears inaccurate, unlawful, misleading or inappropriate.
8. Religious and Spiritual Information
Sehyog respects the religious and cultural significance of services displayed on the Platform.
However, Sehyog does not guarantee or make representations about the religious, spiritual or personal effect of any ceremony, ritual, puja or service.
Information on Sehyog should not be interpreted as medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
Users and service providers must not use the Platform to exploit individuals experiencing grief, illness, fertility concerns, financial hardship, family distress or spiritual anxiety.
Claims about guaranteed blessings, cures, financial success, relationships or other spiritual outcomes must not be presented as established facts.
9. Payments, Donations and Offerings
Sehyog currently does not charge users or temples for registration through the Platform.
Sehyog does not facilitate or process donations, charitable contributions or religious offerings.
Any donation or offering made independently to a temple is outside Sehyog and is a matter between the individual and the relevant organisation.
Where independent service providers charge for their services, they are responsible for communicating applicable prices, booking conditions and cancellation arrangements.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Sehyog is not a party to transactions arranged directly between users and independent service providers.
10. Community Posts, Events and User-Generated Content
Sehyog provides community features that allow registered users, temples and independent service providers to submit and publish content, including posts, announcements, event listings, photographs, videos, descriptions and other community-related information.
Users are responsible for the content they submit and must ensure that it complies with these Terms and applicable laws.
10.1 Acceptable Community Content
Content published on Sehyog should be relevant to religious, cultural, traditional, educational or community-related activities, events and services.
Users should not use community features for unrelated commercial advertising, promotions, spam or content that does not reasonably relate to the purpose of Sehyog.
For example, general advertising for restaurants, takeaways, nightlife, clubs or unrelated products and services may be removed.
10.2 Prohibited and Objectionable Content
Users must not submit, publish, share or promote content that:
– Contains abusive, threatening, intimidating, harassing or bullying behaviour.
– Promotes hatred, discrimination or hostility towards individuals or groups based on religion, race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, disability or other protected characteristics.
– Contains sexually explicit, pornographic or otherwise inappropriate material.
– Encourages violence, illegal activities, exploitation or harm to others.
– Impersonates individuals, temples, charities, organisations or service providers.
– Contains fraudulent, deceptive or deliberately misleading information, including false event listings.
– Violates another person’s privacy, intellectual property rights or other legal rights.
– Contains spam, malicious links or unauthorised commercial promotions.
– Exploits individuals experiencing grief, illness, financial hardship, family distress or spiritual anxiety.
– Makes misleading or unsubstantiated claims about religious ceremonies, spiritual outcomes, medical benefits or other services.
– Is otherwise unlawful or inconsistent with Sehyog’s community standards.
Sehyog respects freedom of religious expression and cultural diversity. Differences in religious beliefs, traditions or opinions do not, by themselves, constitute objectionable content.
10.3 Content Review and Moderation
Sehyog maintains administrative moderation procedures to help maintain a safe and respectful community environment.
Content may be reviewed before publication or following reports from users.
Certain content, including event listings, may be subject to administrative review before publication.
Sehyog may review, restrict, reject or remove content that breaches these Terms or our community standards.
Publication or approval of content does not constitute endorsement or a guarantee by Sehyog.
10.4 Reporting Published Posts
Users can report posts they reasonably believe contain objectionable, inappropriate, abusive, misleading or otherwise prohibited content.
When a post is reported through the Platform:
– The reported post is immediately hidden from public view.
– The report is submitted to Sehyog’s administration panel for review.
– The post remains hidden while awaiting an administrative decision.
– Administrators may permanently remove the post or approve it for republication.
Sehyog will review reports and take appropriate action in a timely manner, considering the seriousness and nature of the concern.
10.5 User Responsibility
Users must ensure that they have the necessary rights and permissions to publish content, including photographs, videos, event information and personal details.
Users must not knowingly publish misleading information or use the Platform to intimidate, exploit or cause harm to others.
11. Reporting, Blocking and Community Safety
Sehyog is committed to maintaining a respectful and safe environment for its users, temples, service providers and community organisations.
11.1 Reporting Objectionable Content
Users can report objectionable posts using the Report Post option available within the Platform.
Reports are submitted to Sehyog’s administration team for review.
Reported posts are automatically hidden from public view until a moderation decision has been made.
Users may also report inappropriate content, abusive behaviour, fraudulent listings or other safety concerns by contacting support@sehyog.world.
Sehyog will assess reports and take proportionate action where appropriate.
11.2 Blocking Users
Sehyog provides users with the ability to block other user accounts.
When a user blocks another account, content associated with that blocked account, including its posts, events and service listings, will no longer be visible to the user who initiated the block.
Blocking an account does not automatically remove that account or its content from Sehyog for other users.
Blocking is intended to help users control their experience and reduce exposure to unwanted or abusive content.
11.3 Action Against Abusive Users
Sehyog may take appropriate action against users who seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms.
Such action may include:
– Removing inappropriate content.
– Restricting publishing privileges.
– Issuing warnings.
– Temporarily suspending accounts.
– Permanently removing accounts in cases of serious or repeated violations.
Where necessary, Sehyog may take immediate protective action in response to credible risks of serious harm, fraud, exploitation or unlawful activity.

Sehyog aims to address safety-related concerns promptly, prioritising serious or urgent matters.
12. Future Features
Sehyog may introduce additional functionality in the future.
The availability of future functionality is not guaranteed merely because a proposed or upcoming feature has been described on the Platform.
Where additional terms, charges or contractual arrangements apply to a new feature, they will be communicated as appropriate before that feature is used.
13. Intellectual Property
The Sehyog name, branding, Platform design, software and Sehyog-created content are owned by or licensed to Sehyog.
Temples, service providers and other users retain ownership of content they provide, subject to any third-party rights.
By submitting content to Sehyog, you grant Sehyog a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, format and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform and promote the relevant listing, event or community activity.
You must ensure that you have the necessary rights and permissions to grant this licence.
14. Availability of the Platform
We aim to keep Sehyog available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
We may update, suspend or change parts of the Platform where reasonably necessary.
15. Limitation of Liability
Sehyog is a platform that helps users discover and connect with independent temples and service providers.
Sehyog does not ordinarily provide, manage or control the services offered by them and is not responsible for their independent acts, omissions or the quality or outcome of their services, except to the extent that liability arises under applicable law.
While we aim to keep information on Sehyog accurate and the Platform available, we cannot guarantee that all information provided by third parties will always be complete, accurate or up to date, or that the Platform will always be available without interruption.
Sehyog’s moderation and reporting procedures are intended to reduce risks but do not guarantee that all inappropriate or misleading content will be identified or prevented.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms affects users’ statutory consumer rights
16. Removal and Suspension
Sehyog may suspend, restrict or remove a listing, post, publication or account where reasonably necessary, including where:

– Removal or restriction is reasonably necessary to protect users or the Platform.
Where a post is reported, Sehyog may temporarily restrict its visibility while it is reviewed.
Following review, Sehyog may restore the content, remove it permanently or take other proportionate action.
Where appropriate, Sehyog may notify affected users of the reason for an action and provide an opportunity to raise concerns.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available under applicable law.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Where changes materially affect registered users, temples or service providers, we will take reasonable steps to communicate them.
Where required, users may be asked to review and accept updated Terms before continuing to use certain Platform features.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections or applicable laws that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights consumers may have under applicable law.
